During January and February approximately 30 000 m\u00b3 of artificial snow is produced and then stored at two prepared storage sites at the Hellner Stadium. The snow is protected by an insulating layer of sawdust to withstand the effects of sun, heat and rain.<\/p>\n

The stored snow will be uncovered and delivered to the tracks at the end of October. The opening of the tracks is scheduled for the end of October\/beginning of November.<\/p>\n
