Lukas Bauer, Alex Harvey, Jessica Higgins – it\u2019ll be a star-studded event on the track of Hellner Stadium when the ski season begins again in early November.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Canada-Cross-Country-Team\"<\/a>Five national teams, including the US, Canada, and the Czech Republic, have chosen G\u00e4llivare as their training grounds for world cup season. The teams will spend most of November at the training camp in Dundret, and will take part in the G\u00e4llivare Premiere on the 21st and 22nd of November.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe stage is set for a truly world class premiere competition,\u201d says Stefan Nieminen, Sport Event G\u00e4llivare\u2019s director. \u201cAs of now, we have at least four World Championship medalists and about 40 World Cup participants signed up, which feels fantastic.\u201d
\nSki Camp G\u00e4llivare has scheduled the season premiere for November 1st, and during that first week the national teams will start to converge in G\u00e4llivare for training. First up are Canada and the Czech Republic, who will repeat their approach from last season.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur success at the World Championships in Falun proved that our training in G\u00e4llivare was very effective,\u201d says Luke Sacher, the Czech head coach. \u201cWe\u2019re really looking forward to coming back again.\u201d<\/p>\n

The USA, with their surprise medals during the previous World Championships, are following in Canada\u2019s footsteps and bringing the entire team to G\u00e4llivare. Poland and Slovakia have also registered their teams for the training camp.<\/p>\n

\"6931_foto\"<\/a>\u201cG\u00e4llivare is perfect for our World Cup preparations,\u201d says Canada head coach Justin Wadsworth. \u201cThe nicely prepared trails and varied terrain are perfect for distance and interval training.\u201d<\/p>\n

The G\u00e4llivare premiere, which will finish off the training camp period at Dundret, will have the same format as Ruka in Finland. It will take place on the last weekend of November, and is open to both juniors and seniors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
